Op 24 en 25 november organiseert de World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) in Brussel een internationale conferentie rond auteursrecht en de uitdagingen die de evoluties in digitale technologie met zich meebrengen. Inschrijven kan tot 23 oktober.The Conference will assess developments and challenges raised in recent years by technological developments and digital market trends, rights management information systems and competition issues. It will look at the future of collective management in the ever-expanding digital environment, as well as improvements in the exercise and management of rights introduced by collective management organizations world wide and in particular in Europe.
De conferentie wordt georganiseerd in samenwerking met de European Grouping of Societies of Authors and Composers (GESAC), Association of European Performers’ Organisations (AEPO-ARTIS), en de International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers (CISAC).
